Chicago Count Me In 2020

Hello! Chicago Count Me In 2020 GOTC Grantees, We hope you are all doing well and staying safe during these times. As briefly mentioned on our GOTC monthly call last week, we are working closely with the City of Chicago to possibly extend the Chicago Count Me In 2020 GOTC program past June 30, 2020. When we have more information, we will share, accordingly. In the immediacy, we need your help! Mayor Lightfoot is requesting some information to best assess where to continue concerted Census outreach efforts to ensure a full Census count in the City this year. Your prompt participation would be greatly appreciated. Thus, we are asking for more information about your Census outreach efforts during COVID-19 and what outreach activities you look to hold during the summer. Please fill out this Google form by end of day, this Thursday, 5/21. While we did capture some items in your grant addendum, we want to give you this opportunity to describe a little more what efforts you would partake in, if the program were extended past June 30, 2020. If the program does extend, no additional funds would be provided, but it would be an opportunity to have more time to conduct activities your organization may not have had a chance to hold previously due to the health pandemic. If you have any questions, please let Anita or me know.
